Obituary for Lena Gardner Blankenship
Mrs. Lena Gardner Blankenship, age 86, of 203 S. Grady, died Wednesday at Comanche County Memorial Hospital.

Funeral services have been set for 2:00 P.M., Saturday, officiated by Reverend Richard Steiner, at Lowell Memorial Chapel. Burial will be in Altus City Cemetery under the direction of Lowell Funeral Home.

Born November 17th, 1889 at Marsden, OK, in Oklahoma Indian Territory, she was married at Altus in 1915 to the late Henry Blankenship who died in 1960.

Survivors include: three daughters, Mrs. Bernice Parrent, Mrs. Iris Sampler and Mrs. Doris Parrent, all of Altus; two sisters, Mrs. Euna Briscoe and Mrs. Hope Davis, both of Altus; 19 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren.
