Obituary for Lena McCallay
Lena McCalley, age 89, of Blair, Oklahoma was born January 8, 1906, in Old Greer County, Oklahoma Territory to B.O. and Alice gage Gardner. She was a life long resident of the Blair area. Mrs.McCallay passed away Wednesday, June 28, 1995, in the Mangum City Hospital after a lengthy illness.
On December 9, 1932, she and James H. "Jim" McCallay were united in marriage at Blair, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death on June 8, 1994. She was a loving mother, sister and grandmother. She was a faithful member of the Blair Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one daughter; Joy Arnold. Two son-in-laws; Buford Dollar and Willie Arnold; two sisters and three brothers.
Survivors include; a daughter Claudine Dollar of Blair, Oklahoma, a sister and brother-in-law, Lois and Walter Hendry of Blair, Oklahoma, two grandchildren; Jim Dollar and his wife Judy of Blair, Oklahoma and Mindy Grimes and her husband Charles, of Denton, Texas also five great-grandchildren; Stacy Miller and her husband Brian of Duncan, Oklahoma, Kayla Dollar of Blair, Oklahoma and Christy, Ashlea and Jordan Grimes of Denton, Texas.
