Obituary for Lena Opal Franks
Funeral Services for Lena Opal Franks, age 87, longtime resident of Eldorado, are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Sunday, March 15, 1998, at the Eldorado First Baptist Church. Ken Coleman will officiate. Burial will follow at the Eldorado Cemetery .

Mrs. Franks was born January 28th, 1911 to W.P. and Dora Lee (Robertson) Wheeler in Martha, Oklahoma. She married William T. Franks in 1927 in Greer County. Mrs. Franks was a Homemaker and a member of the Eldorado First Baptist Church. Mrs. Franks passed away March 13th, 1998 at a local nursing home. Lowell Tims Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Mrs. Franks was preceded in death by her husband, William T. Franks; a daughter, Jan Freeman; and two sisters, Gertrude Perryman and Clelea Warren.

Survivors include: one son, Billy Ray Franks of Rusk, TX; four grandchildren; and numerous great and great-great grandchildren.

Mrs. Franks will lie in state from 2:00 p.m. Saturday, until service time, Sunday at the Lowell Tims Funeral Home in Eldorado.
