Obituary for Lenora Brown Carrigan
Mrs. Lenora B. Carrigan, age 83, died unexpectedly early this morning of an apparent heart attack. She was visiting at the time in the home of her grandchildren, Jim and Betty Briscoe of Hess. Mrs Carrigan, for the past two years, has made her home with a daughter, Mrs. Bonnie Whitehead of Friendship.

Born January 24th, 1887, in Bronston, Kentucky, she lived in Frazer, Kentucky most of her life. A husband, J.H. Carrigan, preceded her in death in 1935. She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Frazer.

Survivors include: two sisters, Mrs. Leonard Smith of Ardmore and Miss Jo Carrigan of Joliet, IL; one son, J. S. Carrigan of Frazer, KY; eight grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren.

Lowell Funeral Home is in charge of local arrangements. The body will be flown to Kentucky for services and burial will be in Monticello Kentucky Cemetery. Service times are still pending.
