Services for Leona Capehart, age 82, of Mangum, Oklahoma, are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Friday, February 7, 1992 at the Salvation Army Church with burial to follow at the Martha Cemetery, under the direction of Lowell Tims Funeral Home.
Mrs. Capehart died February 4th, 1992 at the Mangum Hospital. Born October 10th, 1907 to William and Rachel Henry in Arkansas, she had lived in Blair since 1958 and had, within the last two years, lived in Mangum. In 1931 she married James Capehart in Spiro, OK and had been a housewife. She was a member of the Salvation Army and will be missed by all that knew her.
Survivors include: seven children, Vicki Hood and Ola Monks of Altus, OK, Alvie Lee Capehart and Billy Capehart of Blair, OK, Bobby Capehart and Shirley Thompson of Mangum, OK and Rachel Phillips of Ft. Worth, TX; two sisters, Adeline Shettlesworth and Louellen Davis of Spiro, OK; 22 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by: one son, Jimmy James Capehart; a sister, Mary Davis; three brothers, Harle, Will and Frank Henry; her parents.
