Obituary for Leslie Joe Morrow
Leslie Joe Morrow, age 35, of Snyder, Oklahoma, passed away on September 16, 2025. He was born on January 13, 1990, in Lawton, Oklahoma, to Lonnie Joe Morrow and Ruthie Mae Cain.
Leslie was raised in Snyder and graduated from Snyder High School with the Class of 2008. Throughout his life, he worked many jobs, including plumbing, construction, fabrication, and meat processing at Bar-S, National Beef in Kansas, and other plants across Oklahoma. Of all his jobs, his favorite was working in the oilfield as a derrick hand and flow hand. He took pride in being a hard worker and was known for his grit and determination-whether tripping pipe or tackling any challenge that came his way.
Beyond work, Leslie was a man full of life. He was sweet, caring, and polite, always ready to lend a hand, share a laugh, or tell a joke to brighten someone's day. Known as the "life of the party," Leslie wasn't just part of the fun-he was the fun. He loved spending time with his children more than anything else, and family was truly the center of his world.
Leslie lived for adventure. He enjoyed camping, fishing, video games, and long drives down dirt roads. He loved the freedom of being outdoors, riding his scooter, and enjoying nature in its simplest, purest form. He appreciated a good cold beer, treasured moments with friends and family, and had a spirit that was never meant to be contained. He lived life boldly, on his own terms, and to the very fullest.
He is survived by his four beloved children, Shawn Young, Mya Morrow, Kyle Morrow, and Casen Morrow; his mother, Ruthie Mae Lough and husband Kevin ; his father, Lonnie Joe Morrow and wife Sarah; his siblings, Coy Michael and wife Desirae, Jessie Mae Cain and husband Josh, Meghan Cain, and Tara Morrow. He was lovingly refereed to as "Uncle Lulu" by his nieces and nephews, Danica, Carter, Layla, Lauralye, Titus, Josiah, Allison, River EliUanna, Aizlynn, Jaylynn, Embrie, Ariella; special friends, Beckey, JoAnn extended family, and friends who will miss him deeply.
Leslie was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Coy and Virginia Michael; his paternal grandparents Bob and Sue Morrow; and his Uncle Junior.
Funeral services are pending with Lowell - Tims Funeral Home and Crematory, Altus, Oklahoma.
Leslie will be remembered as a devoted son, brother, and father, a free spirit, and a kind soul whose laughter and love will remain in the hearts of those who knew him.
