Lillie Christine White, age 55, of Mangum, passed away, Tuesday morning, March 15, 2011, at Grace Living Center, in Mangum.
Mrs. White was born on February 17, 1956, to Bill and Dorothy (Johnson) McNutt, at Mountain Home, Idaho. Living and attending school in Boise, Idaho until moving to Mangum in 1973, she graduated form Mangum High in 1975. On June 9, 1975, she married Darcy L. White, and they established their home in Mangum. Working a short time at Kellwood Manufacturing, in Altus, she spent most of her life as a homemaker and custodian for the Church of God. Making crafts was one of her pastimes, but being with her family and attending church was the most important things in her life.
Preceded in death by her parents and two nephews, Billy McNutt and Shann Darden, she is survived by her husband, Darcy, of the home; two children, Linda Smith and husband Doug of Mangum and Darcy White Jr. and wife Lillie of Mangum; five grandchildren, Michael White, Dakota Webb, Andrew Bishop, Jr., Donaven Bishop and Cody L. Parker; two sisters, Virginia Sampson of Mangum and Betty Broadrick and husband Nathan of Edmond; four brothers, Bill McNutt and wife Pat of Mangum, Toney McNutt and wife Kathy of Mangum, Tom McNutt and wife Doris of Cleaburne, Texas and David McNutt of Forney, Texas along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services for Lillie White will be at 2 p.m., Friday, March 18, 2011, at the Mangum Church of God with Rev. Tom McNutt, Pastor Martin Young and Sam Studer officiating. Interment will follow at Riverside Cemetery under the direction of Greer Funeral Home of Mangum.
The family will greet friends at Greer Funeral Home on Thursday, March 17, 2011, from 6 until 7 p.m.
