Lillie M. Huey 86, passed away Thursday, December 13, 2007 at Jackson County Memorial Hospital.
Lillie was born May 15, 1921, in Bessie, Oklahoma to Samuel and Elizabeth (Fleming) Kiehn.
Lillie and Jessie L. Huey were married December 6, 1941 in Cordell, Oklahoma. They moved to Altus in 1966 where Lillie was employed at Jackson County Memorial Hospital until her retirement in 1983. Lillie was a member of the Emmanuel Baptist Church in Altus.
Lillie is survived by her husband Jessie of the home; one daughter, Joyce Wissell and husband Ron of Altus; one son-in-law, Greg Rafferty of Altus; one sister, Rosella Sorrels of Claypool Arizonia; four grandchildren
nine great-grandchildren; and one great-great granddaughter.
Lillie was proceeded in death by one daughter, Patricia Rafferty; her parents; two sisters; three brothers and one great-granddaughter.
Funeral Services for Lillie Mae Huey will be at 2:00 pm Monday, December 17, 2007 at the Emmanuel Baptist Church with the Rev.Boyd Whitehead officiating. interment will follow at the Altus City Cemetery under the direction of Lowell-Tims Funeral Home.
The family will greet friends Sunday, December 16, from 2:00 until 4:00pm at Lowell-Tims Funeral Home.
