Obituary for Lillie Mae Riddle
Lillie Mae Riddle, age 73, of Lawton, passed away Tuesday, January 2nd, 1996.
Services have been scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Friday, at the Lowell Tims Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dave Chittenden officiating. Interment will follow in the Altus City Cemetery under the direction of Lowell Tims Funeral Home.
Mrs. Riddle was born March 5, 1922, in Altus, Oklahoma. She was the daughter of Lee and Mary Belle (Holland) Osburn. She married Grover Riddle in Altus where they made their home until moving to Lawton in 1966. She was a member of the Tabernacle Baptist Church in Altus and moved her Letter of Membership to Calvary Baptist in Lawton. Mrs. Riddle had been employed with Herb's Grocery for many years until her retirement in 1977.
Survivors include: four children, Sonja Arlene Helfenbein of Salem, OR, Darlene Bowser and her husband Willie of Lawton, Oklahoma, Marcella Ross and husband George of Faxon, OK and Janice Martin of Lawton, Oklahoma; one brother, James Osburn of Altus, OK; two sisters, Juanita Pendergrass of Canton, TX and Myrtle Lee Enochs of Stanton, CA; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by: her parents; one brother, Marvin Osburn; one son, Darren Riddle; husband, Grover in May of 1969.
