Lona Howe was born January 3rd, 1894 in Decatur, Texas to William and Millie Brock McCarty. She passed away March 25th, 1982 in Jackson County Memorial Hospital, Altus, Oklahoma.

Lona Married Waller E Howe in 1914. They belonged to the Elm and Hudson Church of Christ. They homestead in Greer County before moving to Altus in 1916. Waller preceded her in death October 29, 1969.

Lona Howe is survived by one son, Charles E. Howe of Tyler, Texas and one daughter, Evelyn Harper ( Bill) of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Graveside Services are to be l0:00 A.M., Saturday, March 27, 1982 at Altus city Cemetery with Bill Osborne officiating. Services are under the direction of Tims Funeral Home.
