Lorene M. Baker, 73, of Altus died at the Jackson County Memorial Hospital. Services are scheduled for Saturday at 2:00pm in the First Baptist Church in Geronimo, Oklahoma. Officiated by Rev. Herschel R. Lindsey. Burial will be in the Flower Mound Cemetery under the direction of Lowell-Tims Funeral Home, 1100 East Tamarack Road.

Baker was born April 12, 1917 at Hickle, Texas. She was the daughter of John and Amy baker. She had been a resident of Altus 35 years moving here from Clinton, Oklahoma. she was preceded in death by her husband Harvey Ely Baker.

Survivors include three children, Donna H. Collum of Fort Worth, Texas; Freddie Ely Baker, Hollis, Oklahoma; Debbie L. Browning, Amarillo, Texas; brother Lloyd West, Geronimo, Oklahoma; one sister, Kelly West< Kingfisher, Oklahoma; six grandchildren; two great grandchildren.
