Obituary for Loretta Sue Horton
Loretta "Susie" Horton, age 56, a long-time resident of Altus, passed away Monday, May 12, 2008 in Fort Worth, Texas.
Susie was born in Altus on December 24, 1951 to Fred and Lela Robertson. On December 24, 1975 she married Harry Horton and soon after was the mother of three beautiful children whom she loved to play with and read to. Susie loved to read her Bible, write poems, and sing and dance. She was a long-time co-owner/operator of Horton Income Tax Service and was a very caring and loving Certified Medical Assistant. Susie was loved very much by her family and friends and she will be missed greatly.
Preceded in death by her parents, Susie is survived by her husband, Harry Horton of Fort Worth, Texas; one son, Michael Horton and wife Starla of Altus; two daughters, Thresa Roman and her husband Joseph of Fort Wainwright, Alaska; Lisa Wilborn and her husband Coby of Fort Worth, Texas; one brother, Wayne Robertson and his wife Sherry of Mineral Wells, Texas; one sister, Linda Whitehouse and her husband Karmen of Tulsa; seven grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Services for Loretta "Susie" Horton will be at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, May 17, 2008 at the Lowell-Tims Funeral Home Chapel with Rodney Robertson officiating. Interment will follow at Altus City Cemetery under the direction of Lowell-Tims Funeral Home.
