Funeral Services for former Wewoka resident Lou Ann Cervantes are scheduled for 2:00 P.M., Monday, April 28,2008 at New Hope Church, interment at McGirt Family Cemetery, Sasakwa, OK.
Cervantes, 49, died Thursday, 1:54 A.M., April 24, 2008 at Jackson County Hospital surrounded by friends and family after a long illness of cancer and diabetes. She was born November 11, 1958 at Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Jimmie and Flora (Johnson) McGirt. She graduated from Wewoka High School and worked for various jobs throughout her life, most recently at Wal Mart, where she was a cashier.
She married Raul Cervantes April 24, 1984 at Altus, OK.
