Scott was born on February 27, 1983, in Childress, Texas. He spent his formative years in Hollis, Oklahoma, where he attended school.
Scott's passions were as vast as his heart. He found joy in attending classic car shows, reveling in the nostalgia and craftsmanship of bygone eras. His hands were never idle, as he spent countless hours working on cars and motorcycles, displaying an incredible mechanical aptitude. Scott possessed a rare talent; he could build anything he set his mind to, transforming raw materials into marvels of engineering. His skill and passion for tinkering were admired by all who knew him.
In addition to his mechanical prowess, Scott was a gifted artist. His talent for drawing faces was unparalleled, capturing the essence and emotion of his subjects with a precision that left observers in awe. His artwork served as a testament to his creativity and sensitivity, leaving an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of experiencing it.
Just two weeks prior to his passing, Scott achieved a significant milestone by obtaining his HISET (High School Equivalency) diploma. He was eagerly looking forward to furthering his education with the aspiration of becoming a counselor, aiming to inspire and support others, mirroring his own journey of perseverance and determination.
Scott was preceded in death by Grandparents: Hershel Cunningham, Terry and Wanda Crockett, and Jimmy and Mary Strickland.
He was the beloved son of Joel and Tammy Strickland, cherished brother to TJ Strickland, and adored uncle to Natalee and Dawtry Strickland.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, May 3, 2024 at Lowell - Tims Funeral Home Crematory, Altus, Oklahoma.
