Lyda E. Halliday Tate



Lyda E. Halliday Tate, 78, passed away Wednesday, January 4, 1995 at the Jackson Memorial Hospital. Lyda was born July 13, 1916 in Grayson County, Texas, the daughter of Thomas E. and Sadie Halliday. She married A.L. Tate in March of 1941 at Carendon, Texas, and he preceded her in death in 1981.
She was a long time resident of Eldorado and Jackson County, having resided here over 40 years. She was employed by General Dynamics and Consolidated Air Craft. She was a long time member of the Eldorado Church of Christ.
Lyda was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, A.L. Tate; one sister, Esttlee Wilder; and one brother, Thomas Halliday.
She is survived by one brother, Joel Halliday of Eldorado.
