Lydia Ann Allen age 71 of Tipton, Oklahoma died January 27, 1969 at the Frederick Manor Nursing Home in Frederick, Oklahoma. She was born December 27, 1897 in Talking Rock, Georgia to William B and Amanda C. (Mathis) Swann. She married George Allen June 29, 2947 and had lived in Tipton for the past 50 years. Lydia was a member of the Tipton Methodist Church.
Funeral services for Lydia Ann Allen are scheduled for Thursday, January, 30 at 2:00pm in the Assembly of God Church of Tipton, officiated by Rev. Clyde Wolf. Burial will follow in the Tipton Cemetery under the direction of Tims Funeral Home.
Lydia Ann Allen is survived by her husband George of the home in Tipton, Oklahoma; two step-sons, Jessie Flynn, Washington D. C.; Jack Allen, Denver City, Texas; three step-daughters, Pearlene Garner, Albany, Oklahoma; Bertha Faught, Buchanan, Texas; Leda Joe Ables, Red Bluff, California; three brothers, Harley Swann, Cross Plains, Texas; Bill Swann, Altus, Oklahoma;
Vernie Swann, Altus, Oklahoma; twenty-five grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren.
