Mabel (NMI) Chennault, age 84, died Thursday, October 13th, 1983, at Jackson County Memorial Hospital. Born September 16th, 1899 in Myria, TX, she was a life time native of Jackson County.
Services have been set for 2:00 P.M. Monday, October 17, 1983, at Lowell Memorial Chapel. Rev. C. C. Gober will officiate. Burial will be at the Altus City Cemetery under the direction of Lowell Funeral Home.
She is survived by: one son, Bobby Chennault of Wichita Falls, TX; three daughters, all of Altus, Chrystine Morrison, Mildred Halcomb and Juanita Tabby; six sisters, Velma Morrow of Amarillo, TX, Mary Hall, Lorene Lindstrom and Pauline Mott of San Pedro, CA, Sallie Davis of Plainview, TX and Billie Suarez of Lamont, CA; 10 grandchildren, Anita Ellerbee, Tommy Davlin, BettyBarney, Patsy White, Bart Halcomb, Lee Chennault and Eula Jan Chennault, all of Altus, Eva Mae Wingfield of Oklahoma City, OK, Barbara Burns of Wichita Falls, TX and Shirley Coffey of Duke, OK; 12 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; a number of nieces and nephews.
