Obituary for Madalene Huffines Brown
Madalene Brown, age 91, of Quanah, Texas and former resident of Eldorado died at the Hardeman County Memorial Hospital on Thursday. Graveside services are scheduled for 10:00 a.m., Saturday, March 9, 2002 at the Eldorado Cemetery officiated by Rev Clint Young. Arrangements are under the direction of Lowell-Tims Funeral Home. She will lie in state at Lowell-Tims Funeral Home in Altus Friday night and will be at the Lowell-Tims Chapel in Eldorado Saturday morning until service time.

Madalene was born November 16, 1910 at Eldorado and was a retired teacher. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Quanah. She is survived by a daughter, Barbara Ann Houchin of Wichita, Kansas.
