Obituary for Maella Rogers
Maella Rogers, age 68 of Altus, Oklahoma, passed away Friday, September 6th, 2002 at the Comanche County Memorial Hospital in Lawton, Oklahoma. Graveside services were 2:00 p.m. Monday at the Altus City Cemetery officiated by Reverend Lloyd Lopez. Arrangements are with Lowell Tims Funeral Home. The family had lunch from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at The Towers (101 East Commerce in Altus, Oklahoma).

Maella was born September 25th, 1933 in Altus to Ralph and Bettie Gresham. She married Arthur Rogers on September 2, 1950 at Vernon, Texas and they made their home in Altus. Maella was a homemaker and enjoyed cooking and her family.

Survivors include: her husband, Arthur Rogers of the home in Altus, Oklahoma; three children, John D. Rogers and his wife Pamela of Altus, Anita J. Tockey and husband Craig of Altus and Eddie Rogers and his wife Beth also of Altus, Oklahoma. Also surviving are four grandchildren,
Sherri Tockey, Baron Tockey, Michael Rogers and Danny Rogers.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Nona Gray.
