Obituary for Maggie Belle Coursey
Mrs. Maggie Coursey, age 79, of 1037 East Walnut, died Saturday at Jackson County Memorial Hospital.

Funeral services have been set for 2:00 P.M., Monday at Lowell Memorial Chapel, officiated by the Reverend T.O. Parsons. Burial will be in Altus City Cemetery under the direction of Lowell Funeral Home.

Born July 22nd, 1902 at Blossom, TX, she was married at Blossom on December 10, 1925 to the late Virgil Coursey who died in April 1981. She had lived a number of years in Lawton, OK before coming to Altus in 1978. She was a member of the Nazarene Church.

Survivors include: three sisters, Mrs. Ruby Johnston, Mrs. Beatrice Friend and Mrs. Ruth Lynn, all of Altus, OK; four brothers, Frank Bates of Altus, Jack Bates of Headrick, Dick Bates of Anardarko and James Bates of Seattle, WA; a number of nephews and nieces.
