Obituary for Mannie Crownover Ensey
Funeral Services for Mannie Crownover Ensey, age 93, of Altus, Oklahoma, are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 16, 1996 at the Lowell Tims Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at the Hess Cemetery. Rev. Carl McCoy will officiate with Dr. Richard Ventonis assisting. Mrs. Ensey passed away March 14th, 1996 at the local hospital. Mrs. Ensey was born November 4th, 1902 in Spanish Fort, TX to Joesph and Unity Jane (Parton) Crownover. On April 23, 1921 she married the late Thomas William Ensey in Altus. Mrs. Ensey was a member of the Odell Baptist Church. Mrs. Ensey was the family historian, devoted mother and wife of a farmer. Lowell Tims Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Survivors include: three children, Odessa Landers of Altus, Oklahoma, Houston Ensey of Bowie, TX and Dawson Ensey of Gainesville, TX; 13 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by: her husband, Thomas William Ensey; her parents; a daughter, Leona Perhacs and one son, Sydney Ensey.
