She was born September 11, 1922 in Kingston, Oklahoma to Isam and Elsie (Rose) Davis. she married L. B. Sherman Jr. November 30, 1940 in Hess, Oklahoma. She had lived in southwest Oklahoma since 1930.
Funeral services for Margaret Naomi Sherman are scheduled for 2:00pm Thursday, July 24, 1969 in Tims Chapel, Altus, officiated by Rev. J. B. North and Rev. Eddie Overstreet. Burial will follow in the Altus Cemetery under the direction of Tims Funeral Home.
Margaret Naomi Sherman is survived by her husband, L. B. of the home; one daughter, Merle Sherman, Ardmore, Oklahoma; two daughters, Mrs. Phyllis Day Stayton, Altus, Oklahoma; Mrs. Bobbie Baker, Altus, Oklahoma; three grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Mae Hale, Merceid, California; two-half sisters Mrs Alma Smith, Long Beach, California; S. L. Hale, Shawnee, Oklahoma; her mother, Mrs. Elsie Speed, Merceid, California
