Maria M. Lopez, 81, of Altus died at the Jackson County Memorial Hospital Thursday. Services are scheduled for 2:00pm Sunday for 2:00pm Sunday at the Lowell-Tims Chapel. Burial will follow at the Altus Cemetery under the direction of Lowell-Tims Funeral Home.
Mrs. Lopez was born July 1, 1911 and had a been a resident of Altus since 1956 having moved here from Eddy, Texas. She was married to the late Francisco Lopez and was a homemaker.
Maria is survived by children, Serapio "S.L" Flores, of Altus, Oklahoma; Max L. Garica of Siginaw, MI.; Joe L. Garcia. of Saginaw, MI.; Severiano "Sammy" Lopez, of Saginaw, MI.; Guadalupe "Lupe" Lopez, of Saginaw, MI.; Eddie Lopez, of Saginaw, MI.; Adam Lopez, of Saginaw, MI.; San Juanita Hinojosa, of Ft. Worth, Texas; Elizabeth Abia of Altus, Oklahoma; fifty six grandchildren; eitghty five great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchildren.
