Marjorie Lou Kirby, 69, former resident of Olustee, Oklahoma died at her home in Lawton Tuesday. Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday at 2:00pm in the Lowell-Tims Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Olustee Cemetery under the direction of Lowell-Tims Funeral Home, 1100 E. Tamarack Road.

Born November 14, 1921 in Olustee and was the daughter of Thomas J. Kirby and Pearl Bradley. She attended Olustee Schools and married Eugene Kirby, August 26, 1940 in Olustee. She worked for eight years for Civil Service at Amarillo AFB and at Ft. Sill. Mr. and Mrs. Kirby have been residents of Lawton since August 1967 where she was a Ameture radio operator KB5FIF holding a technical Class. She was a former member of Lawton-Ft Sill Radio Club and a member of the Trinity Baptist Church in Lawton.

Mrs. Kirby is survived by her husband, Eugene Kirby, Lawton, Oklahoma; children, Walter Eugene Kirby, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; Phillip Karl Kirby, Lawton, Oklahoma; brother, Myrle Bradley, Plainview, Texas; five grandchildren.
