Obituary for Marvin Jones
Marvin Jones was born January 13, 1943 at Weatherford, Texas. He died July 18, 1995 at Altus, Oklahoma. He was the son of Leslie and Ruby Jones. He married Lydia Ruth Brown August 19, at Millsap, Texas. He served in the Jackson County since 1976. He retired from the Air Force after 22 years of service. He worked for C.C. Distributors on Altus A FB up until the time of his death.
Memorial services will be held Friday at 10 am at the Base Chapel on Altus Air Base. Services will be conducted at Weatherford, Texas. The family of Marvin Jones requests that memorials to the American Cancer Association be made in honor of Marvin Jones, in lieu of flowers.
Survivors include Ruby Richardson of New Braunfels, Texas; spouse Lydia Ruth of Austin, Texas; children; Marvin Jones Jr. of Ft. Stewart, Georgia; LeAnn Prater of Stillwater, Oklahoma; Jennifer Jones of Harlingen, Texas; Joni Wilcox of Tindel AFB, Florida; Deana Burke of New Windsor, New York; Amy Jones of Austin, Texas; brother Robert Jones of Weatherford, Texas; Glenda Spears of New Braunfels, Texas; twelve grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father.
