Memorial services for Mary Elizabeth Gray are scheduled for Tuesday, November 9, 1999 at 10:00am at the Altus City Cemetery with Rev. Keith Wiginton officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Lowell-Tims Funeral Home.
Mary passed away September 22, 1999 in Altus. She was born November 9, 1939 in Akron, Ohio to John Amos and Mary Elizabeth (Marsh) Stites. She had lived in Altus for the last seven years moving here from Eastern Oklahoma. She was the manger of Briarwood Apartments in Altus. Mary was a ember of the First Baptist Church in Altus, where she was very involved with her church family.
Mary is survived by two daughters, Joyce Russell and husband Buck of Altus, Oklahoma, Roberta Chaney of Altus, Oklahoma, one brother, John DaMay Stites and wife Yolanda of Key Largo, Florida; one sister, Emmajean Nolt and husband Eugene of Akron, Ohio; three grandchildren, Gregory Solis and Margie Fain, Larisa Russell and Blain Russell all of Altus, Oklahoma, and one great-grandchild to be; a host of other relatives and friends.
She is preceded in death by her mother and father, step-father and one daughter.
