Mary Ellen Duck, 73, long time resident of Altus, Oklahoma passed away June 8, 2020 at her home.
Mary was born September 6th, 1946 in Winter Haven, Texas to John Fiela and Inez (Hernandez) Fiela. She was raised in Eldorado, Oklahoma. She enjoyed watching westerns, going to the theater (her favorite play was CATS) , knitting, making crafts, listening to 50s music, attending concerts with her daughter. Mary is describe by her family as being a kind and generous person, with a kind soul, she was known as "Momma" to everyone.
Mary was preceded in death by Father; John Fiela, Mother; Inez Fiela, and Sister; Susie Cuellar
Left to honor Mary's memory are her husband Jerry Wilber Duck, of the home, Daughter Peggy Sue Clay, Son, Jerry Wayne Duck and wife Amanda, sister; Jane McNeese of Altus, Oklahoma. Nephew; Frankie Cerda, Oklahoma, Nieces; Joanne and Danny Sampler, Judy DeRosa, and Mary Bryant and many great nieces and nephews.
The Duck family will receive friends 6:30 pm - 8:00 p.m. Thursday, June 11, 2020 at Lowell - Tims Funeral Home, Altus, Oklahoma.
Funeral services will be 2pm Friday, June 12, 2020 at Lowell - Tims Funeral Home, Altus, Oklahoma. Interment will follow at Altus City Cemetery, Altus, Oklahoma.
Services are under the direction of Lowell - Tims Funeral Home.
