Obituary for Mary Ellen Gray
Mary Ellen Gray, 93, passed away Tuesday, October 3, 1995 at the Jackson County Memorial Hospital, following a lengthy illness. Mary was born May 6, 1902, in Shreveport, Louisiana, the daughter of the late Doc and Amy Fletcher. She was a longtime resident of Altus.

Mary was united in marriage to Ira Gray. He preceded her in death. Mrs, Gray was a long time, faithful member of the Macedonia Baptist Church.

Mrs. Gray was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Ira; one son, Ira Gray, Jr.; and one daughter, Claudia Gould.

she is survived by one daughter, Helen Roberts of Altus, Oklahoma; five grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
