Mary Ellen Peyton was born May 15, 1947 at New Port Beach, California. She was the daughter of the late Cuthbert "Mac" and Endres McGlasson. She died May 7, 2000 at Altus, Oklahoma. She was a Pre School teacher at WOSC and had taught Pre School in Altus for 17 years. She was a Christian, a member of Beta Sigma Phi, and a member of NAYC.

Survivors include:
Son John Justin Peyton and wife Kelli Columbus, Ohio
1 Granddaughter Emma Elizabeth Peyton Columbus, Ohio
Special Companion Roy Don Sewell Altus, Oklahoma
1 Brother Dennis McGlasson and wife, Trisha Perris, California
2 Nephews
And a host of other relatives and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and first husband, John Peyton.

Memorial services will be held Monday, May 22, 2000 at 11 a.m. at Lowell Tims Funeral Home Chapel. Memorials in honor of Mary Ellen Peyton may be made to the WOSC Scholarship Fund.
