Mary Ellen Scalf age 36, of Altus, Oklahoma died December 1, 1967 in Altus. She was born July 11, 1931 in Olustee, Oklahoma to W.R. and Gerdie (Carpenter) McCormack. Mary married Bill Scalf December 20, 1947 in Altus, Oklahoma. She worked for Taylor Nursing Home. Mary had been a resident of southwest Oklahoma all of her life.
Services for Mary Ellen Scalf are scheduled for Monday December 4, 1967 at 2:00 pm in the Baptist Church, Martha, Oklahoma, officiated by Rev. C. L. Abercrombie and Re. Jack Stanley.
Burial will follow in the Martha Cemetery under the direction of Tims Funeral Home.
Mary Ellen Scalf is survived by two children, son, Lynn Scalf, ond daughter, Brenda Scalf, mother Mrs. W. r. McCormack, Martha, four brothers, W. E. Scalf, Altus, Oklahoma; Archie Scalf, Granite, Oklahoma; Roy J. Scalf, Rantoul, Illinois; W. D. Scalf, Lefore, Texas; four sisters, Mrs. O.K. Burkhalter, Granite, Oklahoma; Mrs. Clarence Calhoun, Madera, California; Mrs. Marshall Watson, Altus, Oklahoma; Mrs Chester Robertson, Altus, Oklahoma.
