Mary Evelyn Bailey, of Altus, Oklahoma went home August 15, 2005. Born September 12, 1922 in Eldorado, Oklahoma to Edith Eleanor Daniells Shrum and Eddie Cravens Shrum.
Evelyn was a devoted Christian, taught bible study, managed the prayer list and placed others above herself.
She is survived by one daughter, Edith Graham Louden of Shepherdstown, WV, two sons , Edwin E. Graham of Graham, TX. Timothy E. Bailey of Lawton, Oklahoma, one brother, James Shrum of Altus, Ok. two half brothers, Donald Shrum of Quannah, TX, Weldon Shrum of Kamay, Tx, two half sisters, Joyce Edmonds of Quannah, Tx. Marie Clayburgh of Sherdian, WY, and a great niece Joy Ivy of Abilene, TX.
Evelyn was proceded in death by two husbands, Garland E. Graham and Ernest Bailey, one brother, Larry Shrum and a half brother, Wayland Shrum, nine grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
Funeral Services for Evelyn Bailey will be Saturday, August 20, 2003 at 2:00 pm at Thomas Street Church of Christ with David Lovejoy officiating.
Interment will follow at the Victory Cemetery, under the direction of Lowell-Tims Funeral Home.
