Obituary for Mary Jo Rogers
Mrs. Mary Jo Rogers, age 65, of 704 West Broadway, died Friday night at Jackson County Memorial Hospital.
Funeral services have been set for 2:00 P.M., Monday at Lowell Memorial Chapel, officiated by the Reverend Carl McCoy. Burial will be in the Altus City Cemetery under direction of Lowell Funeral Home.
Born December 28th, 1914 in Elgin, OK, she had lived in Altus since 1932. She was married in 1963 at Vernon to Mr. Luke Rogers, who survives of the home. She was a member of the Baptist Church.
Survivors include: a son, Robert Lee Kizziar with the U.S. Army in Germany; a step-son, Mr. E.L. "Butch" Rogers of Altus; one step-daughter, Mrs. Barbara Stoner of Townsend, Montana; two sisters, Mrs. Docie Woods of Clifton, TX and Mrs. Ruth Hounshell of Wilmer, TX; three brothers, Vernon French of Hicco, TX, Amos and Edgar French, both from Hamilton, TX; four grandchildren; a number of nieces and nephews.
