Obituary for Mary Kathryn Peard
Mary K. Peard, age 59, of Altus, Oklahoma, passed away Saturday, December 24th, 1994 in the Wilford Hall Medical Center at Lackland Air Force Base, Texas.
Services have been scheduled for 11 A.M. Friday at the St. Paul's Episcopal Church with Father Peter Cominos officiating. Interment will follow in the Altus City Cemetery under the direction of Lowell Tims Funeral Home.
Mrs. Peard was born May 4, 1935 in Mount Union, PA to Fred M. and Harriet L. (Lehman) Miller. She married James Andrew Peard on January 15, 1955 in Columbus, Ohio. They moved to Altus in 1973. She was a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church.
Memorials can be designated to the Oklahoma Medical Research, Cancer Division, through St. Paul's Episcopal Church.
Survivors include: her husband, James Andrew Peard of the home in Altus; four children, James C. Peard of Broken Arrow, OK, Barbara Peard of Germany, Claire M. Brown of Coconut Creek, FL and Rebecca L. Beckett of Okinawa; one brother, Fred M. Miller, Jr. of Columbus, Ohio; four grandchildren, R.J. Brown, Matthew L. Brown, Joshua Beckett and Chelsey Beckett.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
