Obituary for Mary Lou Jones
Funeral services have been set for Mary Lou Jones, age 98, at 10:30 a.m., Monday, February 8, 1988 at the First Baptist Church of Eldorado with The Reverend Kenneth Coleman officiating. Burial will be in the Eldorado Cemetery under the direction of Lowell Funeral Home.

Mary Lou Jones was born July 17,1889 in Lowden County, TN. She was the daughter of The Reverend John Henry Cook and Tennessee Summit Cook. She married Tinsley Jones October 23, 1904 in Wooville, Indian Territory. They traveled by train their wedding night to reach Eldorado where they farmed for many years. Mrs. Jones was the first person in Oklahoma to be implanted with a pacemaker. Mr. Jones preceded her in death.

Survivors include: two daughters, Mildred Clonts of Eldorado and Chrystene Autry of San Jose, CA; one son, Raymond Vestal Jones of Las Vegas, NV; two daughter-in-laws, Margaret Jones of Fullerton, CA and Freda Jones of Las Vegas, NV; one sister, Jane Willis of Kingston, OK; one son, Farell Jones, preceded her in death. Other survivors are: grandchildren, Billy Williams of Houston, TX, Camillo Clonts of Wichita, KS, Harlan Clonts of Oklahoma City, OK, Naomi Feagon of Norco, CA, Kenneth Jones of Phoenix, AZ, Sheila Tyler of Anaheim, CA, Le Rae Jones of Pasadena, CA and Amelia Turiello of Woodside, CA. Also surviving are 20 great grandchildren and 11 Great-great-grandchildren.
