Mattie L. O'Rear
Mattie Moore O'Rear was born October 22, 1905 near Stonewall County Texas. She died February 26, 1991 at English Villiage Nursing Home. She married Charles Elmer O'Rear August 18, 1933 at Waurika, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death June 24, 1972. She was a ling time teacher in the Altus Public School System. She was a long time member of the Altus First Baptist Church.
Services will be held Thursday February 28, 1991 at 2 pm at the Lowell-Tims Chapel. Interment will be held at the Altus Cemetery.
Mrs. O'Rear is survived by her nephew, Gary Jones, Altus, Oklahoma; daughter in law, Glenda O'Rear, Arlington, Texas; grandson, Joe Michael O'Rear, Arlington, Texas; grandaughters, Erin Sue O'Rear, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; Laura O'Rear, Denton, Texas.
