Mattie Lou Dean Gilliam age 61 of Duke died at her home August 30, 1966. She was born in Dallas County, Texas December 3, 1904 to R.H. and Eliza (Houston) Dean. She married George Gilliam July 9, 1924 in Duke, Oklahoma. She had been a resident of Duke since 1906. Mattie was affiliated with the Church of Christ.

Funeral services for Mattie Lou Dean Gilliam are scheduled for August 31, 1966 at the Church of Christ in Duke, Oklahoma officiated by Ardon Hinton and Virgil Osborne of Eldorado, Oklahoma.
Burial will follow in the Restlawn Cemetery under the direction of Tims Funeral Home.

Mattie Lou Dean Gilliam is survived by her husband George Gilliam of the home in Duke, Oklahoma; one son George dean Gilliam of Duke, Oklahoma; one brother Kirby Dean, Wichita Falls, Texas; several nieces and nephews.
