Maudie Adams Richardson, 91, passed away Monday, Monday, January 30, 1995 at the Jackson County Memorial Hospital. Maudie was born November 16, 1903 at Headrick, Oklahoma to John and Ella Adams. She married John Harvel Richardson on January 20, 1923 at Altus.
Mrs Richardson was a life long resident of Headrick and Jackson County. She was a homemaker and a long time member of the Twin Elm Baptist Church. Maudie later moved her membership to the Headrick Baptist Church.
Mrs. Richardson was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, John; one sister, Ethel Dishman; four brothers, Pete, Oscar, Ralph and Abe Adams; and a great-grandson, William Lacy.
She is survived by two daughters and a son-in-law, Julia and Pete Dismore of Headrick and Joyce Harrold of Altus; one brother Dewayne Adams of Nicoma Park, Oklahoma; two sisters, Lillian Shelton of Marlow, Oklahoma and Berta Cassell of Duncan, Oklahoma; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandsons; and a number of nieces and nephews.
