Maudie Ola Walton was born December 25, 1897 at Hill County, Texas. She died December 25, 1995 in Altus, Oklahoma. She was the daughter of the late David Huston and Buna Vail Green. She married William Buford Walton, October 14, 1916 at Altus, Oklahoma and he preceded her in death October 4, 1964. She was a long time resident of Duke and Jackson County and a long time member of the Duke Baptist Church.
Services are scheduled for 10 am Wednesday, December 27, 1995 at the Prairie Hill Cemetery with Sonny Tims officiating. Lowell-Tims Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include children; Lora Laverne Eldridge of Horseshoe Bay, Texas; brother Tom Green of Duke, Oklahoma; sister Nellie Nichelson of Clinton, Oklahoma; four grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren.
Preceded in death by husband William Buford Walton on 10-4-64, daughter Bernice Walton on 11-14-33.
