Maurice Chandler Sr. age 64, passed away Sunday January 23, 2005 in Integris Baptist Hospital in Oklahoma City.
He was born to Alfred Don Chandler and Janie Mae )Jones) Chandler on June 6, 1940 in Altus, Oklahoma. Maurice loved fishing and watching sports on TV. He was a member of St. John Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Loretta Chandler and wife DeLois Maxine (Miller) Chandler.
Maurice is survived by six children, Alvin Wayne, Patricia, Maurice Jr., Antonio, all of Altus, Oklahoma and Mitzi of Oakland, Calif., Kenneth Gaffney of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; one brother; Alvin L. Chandler, of Altus, Oklahoma and a special cousin; Beradine Tolbert of Altus, Oklahoma and fifteen grandchildren and a host of other relatives and many friends.
Grave side services will be held Friday, January 28, 2005 at 12:00 noon at the Altus City Cemetery with Pastor De. W. Jones officiating.
