Maxine Mainard, age 61, of Altus, Oklahoma died July 11, 1982 at Jackson County Memorial Hospital in Altus.
Maxine was born August 26, 1920 to S. E. and Ludie (Thacker) Pickett in Humpherys, Oklahoma. She married Ralph Mainard September 14, 1930 in El Reno, Oklahoma. She lived in Altus most of her life, and worked as a sales clerk.
Funeral services for Maxine Mainard are scheduled for Wednesday, July 13, 1982 at 3 pm at the Emanuel Baptist Church, Altus, officiated by Rev. Noel George and Rev. Bill Davis. Burial will follow in the Altus Cemetery under the direction of Tims Funeral Home.
Maxine Mainard is survived by her husband, Ralph of the home in Altus, two daughters, Marsha Holliday, Sherman, Texas; Marilyn Leckie, Mangum, Oklahoma; seven grandchildren; one brother Eugene, three sisters, Katherine Caveran, Altus; Mary Laxson, North Highland; Celia Nelson.
