Obituary for May Bell Martin
May Bell Martin was born August 10th, 1904 at Greenville, Texas. She died March 17th, 1992 at the Jackson County Memorial Hospital. She married Commadore C. Martin and he preceded her in death November 1961. She was a long time resident of Jackson County having resided here since 1932. She had worked at the Bunker Hill Drug Store from 1961 and retired in 1984. She was a member of the First Baptist Church.
Services are scheduled for 10 A.M., Friday, March 20, 1992 at the Lowell Tims Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Keith Wiginton officiating. Interment will be in the Frederick Cemetery under the direction of Lowell Tims Funeral Home.
She was preceded in death by: her husband, Commodore C. Martin, Nov. 18, 1961; a sister, Hattie Lee Blanton - 1973; a nephew, D.J. (Bus) Blanton - 1988.
Survivors include: Nieces, Mary Blanton and Tina Blanton Brodnan of Oklahoma City, OK, Holly Christine Brodnan of Oklahoma City, OK; Nephews, Tom C. Blanton of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Charles E. Blanton of Broken Arrow, OK and Johnny Mack Blanton of Tulsa, OK.
