Obituary for Melba D. McAnallen
Melba D. McAnallen was born October 16th, 1925 in Olustee, Oklahoma to Howard and Ruby Pearl Offard. She died on April 11, 1990 at her residence in Altus, Oklahoma. She was united in marriage to Walter L. McAnallen in Altus, Oklahoma on March 6, 1948 and he preceded her in death in 1989. She worked for the Altus Public Schools as a School Nurse from 1963 to 1988. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church. She attended Southern Methodist Nursing School in Dallas graduating in 1947.
Survivors include: two daughters, Patti Collins of Altus, OK and Marty Sherrill of Tulsa, OK; three grandsons, Wade Collins of Altus, OK, Scott and Brad Sherrill of Tulsa, OK; two son-in-laws, Ronnie Collins of Altus, OK and Greg Sherrill of Tulsa, OK; her Mother, Ruby Pearl Offard of Altus, OK; two sisters, Marge Dilta of Longview, TX and Nancy Carder.
She was preceded in death by: her son, Bob McAnallen.
