Obituary for Merle Mowdy
Funeral services have been set for Merle Yarber Mowdy, age 40, of 620 N. Grady, Altus. She passed away early Saturday afternoon at Jackson County Memorial Hospital, after a long time illness.

She will lay in state at Lowell Funeral Home from Monday morning until the day of service on Wednesday. The funeral will be at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday at the Park Lane Baptist Church with Rev. John Rushing officiating.

Survivors include: her husband, Wesley, of the home; two sons, Marvin and Mike Mowdy of the home; three daughters, Marsha Ann Mowdy of the home, Kellie Kay and Marla Ranae Mowdy of Amarillo, TX; three brothers, Marvin, Roy and J.C. Yarber of Amarillo, TX; two sisters, Jerry Chisom of Alaska and Deneda Gilmore of Amarillo, TX; her parents, Clarence and Christine Yarber of Mangum, OK.

Lowell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
