MILLIGAN
Michael Dale Milligan, age 57, of Mangum, passed away at his home on Monday, December 1, 2008.
Michael was born on August 16, 1951, in Albany, Oregon to Richard and Norma (Crump) Milligan. Michael moved to Mangum, with his family, at age fourteen and began school in Mangum. In 1969, he married Norma Darnell and they moved to Okmulgee, Oklahoma. In 2003, Michael moved to Dallas to be near his family and in 2007, he returned to Mangum where he lived until his death. A carpenter, by trade, Michael loved building cabinets, fishing and spending time with his family and friends.
Preceded in death by his grandparents and a son, Christopher Michael Milligan, in 1979, he is survived by his parents, Gerald and Norma Gates of Granite; three children, Tina Milligan, Sharon Milligan and Lisa Milligan; one sister, Tammy Martin of Mangum; four brothers, Rick Milligan of Santee, California, David Milligan of Sarke, Florida, Scott Milligan and wife Lori of Kaufman, Texas and Danny Atchley and wife Danica of Mangum; eight grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Graveside services for Michael Milligan will be at 11:30 a.m., Wednesday, December 3, 2008, at Riverside Cemetery with Danny Atchley officiating. Services are under the direction of Greer Funeral Home of Mangum.
