Obituary for Michael James Engle
Michael James Engle age 20, of Blair, Oklahoma was born March 22, 1975, in Clovis New Mexico. He came to Blair in 1989 from Hobart, Oklahoma. He passed away away Monday Morning, July 31, 1995, in the Jackson County Memorial Hospital after a lengthy illness. Funeral services will be at 3:30 pm Wednesday, August 2, 1995, in the First Baptist Church, Blair with Rev. Lawrence Gresham. Burial will follow in the Blair Cemetery under the direction of Lowell-Tims Funeral Home, Altus. He was a member of the First Baptist Church, Blair, Oklahoma.
Michael was a 1993 graduate of Blair High School. He was very active in School activities, especially basketball. In his junior year, he was named to the All Star, All Conference and all Area Basketball teams. He was currently a student at Western Oklahoma State College.
Survivors include father Michael L. Engle of Blair, Oklahoma; mother Mary Dunn of Ada, Oklahoma; brother Heath Sirmons of Blair, Oklahoma; sisters Michelle Engle of Blair, Oklahoma; Christy Sirmons of Blair, Oklahoma; grandparents, Howard and Virgie Engle of Healdton, Oklahoma, Lorene Johnson of Healdton, Oklahoma; Jacqueline and Lvan Lewis of Blair, Oklahoma.
Preceded in death by grandmother; Opal Engle, June 1989; grandfather J.C. Johnson, July 20, 1993.
