Micheal Lynn Williams, 62, Mangum passed away Sept 28, 2019 @ JCMH in Altus, Ok.
Cremation services have been provided by Greer Funeral Home in Mangum, Ok.
Mike Williams was born on November 25, 1954 to Cleo and Bobbie (Strickland) Williams in Mangum, Ok. Born and raised in Mangum, he attended Mangum Schools and continued lifelong friendships with many of his classmates. Known for his artistic and creative talents, Mike was an amazing artist, leaving many friends and family with pieces of his work. Although Mike traveled many paths in life, he was most certain of his path with the Lord. He was baptized March of 1987.
Becoming a father in 2002 was Mike’s most joyous accomplishment. He loved spending time with Allie, fishing, exploring at the lake and sharing their common interest in drawing. In 2018, Mike received a blessing of great peace when he discovered he had a son born in 1977. They continued to stay in contact throughout the remainder of Mike’s life.
Proceeded in death by his parents, Cleo and Bobbie Williams and brother, Stan Williams.
He is survived by his daughter, Allisa “Allie†Williams of Merritt and the mother of his daughter, Jana Wendt. Son, Steven Reid of Arkansas. Nephew, Rob Williams of Edmond and niece, Angi Williams-Young of Mangum. He is also survived by his close friend since childhood, Howard Stowe of Mangum and a host of family and friends including the extended Williams Family.
Private Graveside service will be at Roselawn Cemetery in Mangum, Ok with family.
A day of Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.
