Obituary for Mildred Marie Sumrow
Mildred Sumrow, a long time Altus resident, passed away at Grace Living Center, Wednesday, May 12, 2004.
Mildred was born to Minnie and Doss Myers on July 25, 1917 in Dallas, Texas. Mildred married William Elbert Sumrow on December 2, 1946 in Dallas, Texas and later moved to the Altus area. Mrs. Sumrow was a beautician for several years after attending beauty school and retired at an early age due to health.
Mrs. Sumrow was preceded in death by her parents and husband of forty-two years. She is survived by a nephew, Steve Myers of Texas; a cousin, Erma Hadaway of Runaway Bay, Texas and a host of friends.
Graveside services are scheduled at 10:00 a.m. Friday, May 14, 2004 at Altus City Cemetery with Bill Osborne officiating. Arrangements are with Lowell-Tims Funeral Home.
