Mittie Miram Haralson age 84, of Altus, died November 13, 1967 at Memorial Hospital in Altus.
She was born February 3, 1883 in Nocona, Texas to E. G. Simmons and Mary L. (Adams) She married Tobe Haralson December 6, 1903. He preceded her in death December 20, 1963. She had been a resident of southwest Oklahoma since 1903. she taught Sunday School for several years.
Services for Mittie Miram Haralson are scheduled for November 15, 1967 at 10:00a m in the Baptist Church, Altus, officiated by Rev. Gene Garrison. Burial will follow in the Altus Cemetery under the direction of Tims Funeral Home.
Mittie Miram Haralson is survived by four daughters, Miss Opal Haralson, Altus, Oklahoma; Mrs Lucy Strange, Altus, Oklahoma; Mrs Wilma Mackey, Altus, Oklahoma; Mrs. Alberta Groseclose, Midwest City, Oklahoma; three grandchildren, Wendy, Cindy, Julie, Midwest City, Oklahoma; one brother, Roy Simmons, Altus, Oklahoma.
