Naomi Lee Norman, age 86, of Dodson, Texas passed away early Saturday, September 9, 2017, at her home in Dodson.
Mrs. Norman was born on August 16, 1931 to Jessie and Bertie (Eason) Hammons in Childress, Texas. Naomi "Kitten" Lee Hammons married the love of her life, Guyon Norman, on May 25, 1949, in Childress, Texas and they spent the next sixty-one wonderful years together before his death. Naomi graduated from West Texas in Canyon as a Registered Nurse. She worked as a Private Duty Nurse. Spending time with her family and friends was very important in her life.
Preceeded in death by her parents and one daughter, Brenda Prince. She is survived by one daughter, Shirley Shelton and husband James of Clinton, Oklahoma and son-in-law, James Prince of Amarillo, Texas; five grandchildren, Lori Luck, Leah Stewart, Guyon Prince, Ryann Prince and Jessi Prince; four great grandchildren; five great-great grandchildren; one sister, Syble Norman of Corn, Oklahoma; and many other relatives and friends.
Private Interment was held at the Arlie Cemetery in Arlie, Texas.
