Nellena (Snorts) Anderson




Nellena (Snorts) Anderson was born February 17, 1925 at Headrick, Oklahoma. She was the daughter of the late Bob and Nellie Marsh.

She died May 31, 1995 at Comanche County Memorial Hospital in Lawton, Oklahoma.

She was a life long resident of Jackson County, a Baptist and a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary.

She married R. C. Campbell and he preceded her in death.

She married Eugene (Andy) Anderson on November 12, 1965 in Petersburg, Virginia.

She is survived by her children; Nancy Fox, Largo, Florida, Brenda Petzold, Altus, Oklahoma and Cooper Campbell, Odessa, Texas, a brother, Denver Marsh, McLean, Texas, four sisters; Jessie Thorton, Altus, Oklahoma, Neva Jo Crain, Arlington, Texas, Peggy Hamilton, Atoka, Oklahoma and Dixie Anderson, Bartlesville, Oklahoma. Also, Eleven Grandchildren; Tony and Todd Fox, Amber Hixon, Dusty, Talyan and Tacara Petzold, Cristy Osborn, Tammy, Brittany, Sabra and John Campbell.

Nellena was preceded in death by her parents, first husband and one sister, Bobbie Jones.

Funeral Services are scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Saturday, June 3, 1995 at Lowell Tims Chapel with Rev. Dan Lambert and Rev. Hilton Crain officiating. Interment will follow at Navajoe Cemetery in Navajoe, Oklahoma under the direction of Lowell Tims Funeral Home.
